California Mining Consultants Success Stories
California Mining Consultants has been an active participant in several successful mining projects in California and Nevada. Some of these are chronicled on this page, with each having its own Power Point presentation showing the development history of the property. Our past history of success has provided us the experience to be recognized as the industry leader in small mine permitting in the western United States.
The Discovery Day Mine
The Discovery Day Gold Property is located in Siskiyou County in northwest California near the town of Forks of Salmon, approximately 65 miles southwest of Yreka. It is one of the premier underground mines in California. California Mining Consultants has been instrumental in the permitting and development of the mine since 2004. We oversaw all permitting, development work, mining operations, exploration, and capital raising efforts including the commissioning of a CA NI 43-101 technical report.
The Telegraph Mine
The Telegraph is a unique California Motherlode mining property located in Downieville, CA. The mine contains extensive underground tertiary placer channels as well as very high-grade underground quartz veins. The property was purchased and developed by Lazarus Mining LLC, a business affiliate of California Mining Consultants. Numerous permitting hurdles had to be overcome prior to implementing a development plan which ultimately led to a Joint Venture with a Canadian mining company.

The Cherry Hill Mine
The Cherry Hill Mine is a small underground high-grade gold mine located approximately 15 miles southwest of Yreka, CA. California Mining Consultants, though its affiliate Tahoe Resources LLC, was instrumental in the permitting, development, funding and ultimate sale of the mine. The mine was put into production and profitably sold to a Canadian public mining company.
The “Nick” Mine
The Natchez Pass Gold Property (formerly known as the Nick Mine) is located in Pershing County, Nevada and consists of 660 acre claim block of unpatented BLM mining claims. California Mining Consultants, through its affiliate Natchez Resources LLC has been directing the permitting, development and operational activities on the property.
